How can I get to the Festival if I don’t have a car?

There will be shuttle buses departing from Marina Mall in Abu Dhabi to Entrance C of the MOTN Festival during the Festival hours of operation. The shuttle will leave from Marina Mall Parking (Every 20 mins) with the timings of Sun-Wed: 3:45pm until 12:30am and Thu-Sat: 1:45pm until 12:30am.

Uber is also our official transportation partner and visitors may avail 30% off Uber rides with code MOTN2019 for up to 6 rides per user to and from the event until March 23 2019 (up to AED 30 off per ride).

Is there a free parking available?

Yes there is a free parking lot across the street from the Corniche in front of Nation Towers. As there are limited spaces, first-come-first-serve basis will apply.

How do I pay for the attractions and games at the event?

MOTN is a cashless event. Once you arrive at the festival, you can purchase your activity card and load funds at any specialty activity card station by cash or credit/debit card.

Will credit cards and cash be accepted for retail and F&B vendors?

Yes they are accepted. You may also find 4 ATMs throughout the Festival grounds should you need cash. Please note that you cannot use the activity cards to pay for food, beverage and retail.

If I have a ticket for MOTN, can I access Special Olympics?

The Special Olympics is a separate event which is open to the public (except for the opening ceremony which is ticketed). With your MOTN ticket, you will be able to watch the Beach Volleyball competition, taking place at the Special Olympics Zone at MOTN Festival grounds. Special Olympics Awards Ceremonies will be held at the MOTN Main Stage.

What is the refund policy?

All tickets are non-refundable. However, pass-outs are permitted through the day of which you bought the ticket. For activity cards, you can claim cash-outs onsite during the event between 12 March and 23 March 2019, 11pm at any activity card stations onsite. All funds left unspent after the event will be voided.

Is the festival accessible for people of determination?

Yes it is. Our festival is designed to welcome everyone with a boardwalk throughout the premises.

Is there a medical/first aid station in case of emergency?

Yes, your safety and health is our top priority. Medical services will also be available at all times, including an Advanced Life Support-equipped ambulance, a specialised paramedic/doctor, one medic, two EMT medics, and two foot-patrol medics. There are also three first aid points across the site and six wheelchairs for visitors’ use. In addition, a dedicated team has been appointed to oversee the daily maintenance of all equipment and rides throughout each zone

Can I bring my own food and drinks? Is smoking allowed? What is prohibited?

No outside food, drinks, alcohol are allowed. Smoking is not permitted inside the attractions. Other prohibited items include weapons of any kind, pets, bicycles, illegal substances, spray cans, fireworks, backpacks/hand bags larger than 40 x 40 cm, professional cameras, irresponsible behaviour, fighting, taunting or threatening (verbal or non-verbal), glass items of any kind (including bottles, dishes, drinking vessels, perfume or aftershave),flags or banners, selfie sticks, laser pointers, smoking or lighters, balloons, balls, Frisbees, laptops, tablets ( iPads …… etc ), horns, sirens or any other noise sources.

Should I lose my child within the premises, where may I seek assistance?

If you are accompanying a child, you will receive a special wrist band near the entrance; parents are encourage to write the names/contact on this band and place on the child’s wrist. Any parent or guardian that loses their child will have to inform the nearest security guard or member of staff, and then a radio call will be put out.
